Aviva - wealth: dot com pitch, win and design system
The ask
This work was for a pitch for Aviva’s wealth division. Aviva’s asset wealth at the time was £44bn. A months long pitch, asking us to show a direction, a vision and an identity for all their digital artefacts moving forwards. Pitch was won.
The solution
Aviva was formally know as the Norwich Union. To give it a new direction, we focused on singular artefacts that defined the brand… the Braun Calculator really hit home with the client lead holding the printed page out as a singular metaphor for the brand. Premium, pure and simplicity defined - the design system and brand was based on all the fundamentals of semantic design: grids, typography and flat bold colour. I put the guidelines and design system together for an entire build for aviva.com.
We won the pitch on this image. Braun calculator was the synthesis of the brand.
